Download Festival 2024 bosses have just revealed their second batch of artists gracing stages at Donington Park this year – and it’s exceptional.
Busted, everyone’s favourite band, have just been confirmed to hit the festival for the first time ever. The pop-punk icons will be playing the Avalanche Stage hosted by Kerrang!, alongside Wheatus and Vukovi.
Busted said: “We are honoured and privileged to be at Download Festival this year. To be on a bill with so many acts that have inspired us and continue to make us want to be a better band is a real moment in our career. We have had the most amazing 12 months of being Busted, and now we have this to add to the list. We are gonna go all out…Get ready to jump up and down and lose your minds with us. Busted at Download! Wicked. Let’s ‘ave it!”
Joining them are the icons Enter Shikari, as well as Bowling For Soup, Hoobastank, The Used and many, many more.
Headlining the three-day event is none other than Fall Out Boy, Queens of the Stone Age and Avenged Sevenfold. On top of that, many, many other artists have been announced to join the party, including the legendary Limp Bizkit. We have the full line-up list here.

Download Festival 2023 was a particularly spectacular bumper year for the enormous rock and metal event, as for the first time it welcomed punters to four days of live music over the five-day affair.
Legendary metal band Metallica played two nights, exploring completely different setlists in the process. And Bring Me The Horizon and Slipknot used their headline slots to dazzle fans with their greatest hits along with some newly written pieces.
With dozens of bands hitting stages across Donington Park over the June 2023 weekend, it was one of the festival’s biggest-selling events of all time.
Even more exciting: This is the first year in 20 festivals that Download Festival has an official sponsor. The music event of the year will be sponsored by Liquid Death, the non-alcoholic water company. Download’s promoter, Andy Copping, said of Liquid Death: “Our fans absolutely loved Liquid Death onsite last year. It’s only right we welcome Liquid Death into the Download family as headline partner of the festival. Every now and then a brand comes along that changes the game for consumers and for an entire category. Liquid Death is one of them. We can’t think of a better partner for our fans and artists and look forward to celebrating together next June.”
Download Festival 2024 has been confirmed to take place once again at Donington Park in Derby from Wednesday, June 12 to Sunday, June 16.
There are all kinds of ticket options available to purchase, and they are out right now. These tickets camping, weekend tickets, upgrades, and all sorts of extras including parking passes.
