A woman attacked by a dog in Sydney’s southwest has been rushed to hospital.
Police received reports of a dog attack at 12.50pm on Tuesday and attended a home on Warburton St, Condell Park.
Bystanders had attempted to stop the attack but were unsuccessful, forcing police to use a taser, NSW Police said.

A woman in her 30s was treated at the scene for dog bites to her chest and limbs.
She was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The scene is under control and the dog has been secured by a handler.
“Police have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident,” NSW Police said.
