Democratic Representative Tells JD Vance To Take A Seat With Super Obvious Swipe

Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) mocked former President Donald Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), with a dig straight out of a television show after he pointed out that both lawmakers grew up in the ’90s.

“I grew up looking at Kathy Ireland and thinking about, ‘Oh my god, she was like the supermodel of our time.’ I mean, JD was obviously thinking about Chairry from ‘The Pee-wee Herman Show,’” joked Moskowitz, referring to the debunked couch claim in an interview with the MeidasTouch Network.

Moskowitz told host Ben Meiselas that Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate who is credited for sparking the “weird” attacks that Democrats have hurled at Republicans, is “clearly getting under the skin” of Trump and his VP pick.

He went on to knock Fox News legal analyst Jonathan Turley for scolding Walz after he used the false couch claim to make fun of Vance during the Harris Philadelphia rally on Tuesday.

“Like give me a break,” said Moskowitz of Turley’s take.

He continued, “We could sit here and do a telethon for 24 hours on the stuff that has come out of Donald Trump’s mouth that was not true, OK, or half true or exaggerated.”

The Florida Democrat, after Meiselas noted that Vance has posted “strange stuff” over the years, said Republicans don’t know how to deal with attacks from Democrats.

“The Republicans have been a little bit better with these nicknames and, you know, we can make fun of them, but sometimes they work because it breaks through that media cycle, it gets through the 24-hour news, and it sticks with people,” he said.

“I mean, Tim Walz calling them ‘weird’ is a thing, and it’s working. And you know how it’s working? Because Republicans are talking about it and defending it [like] ‘No, you’re weird. No, you’re weird.’ Right? It’s bothering them.”
