(WETM) – Dairy Queen will be kicking off spring with a deal for soft-serve fans.
“Free Cone Day” returns to Dairy Queen on March 19, offering customers — you guessed it — a free small vanilla soft-serve cone in celebration of what DQ calls “Treat SZN.”
The cones will be available at participating “non-mall” locations, according to Dairy Queen. Participating mall locations will only offer free cones with the purchase of another item.
“Nothing says warmer weather is around the corner quite like Free Cone Day,” Maria Hokanson, the executive director of marketing at DQ, said in a statement included with a press release. “We’re inviting fans everywhere to grab their friends and families and get their ‘Treat Szn’ started with something sweet — on us!”
Those who want a free cone will need to visit their local Dairy Queen in-person; the offer is not valid on mobile orders or delivery.
Free cones will be available all day on Mach 19 while supplies last. Guests are limited to one cone per person.
