The Cronulla junior player who sparked outrage with a pair of vile tattoos on his legs has had them covered up in a bid to continue his career.
Joshua Taylor-Myles last month received an official warning after he was pictured in a NSWRL social media post with tattoos that read “eat s*** f****t” and “snort lines and f***”.
He was told to cover them up or be banned from playing.

The 23-year-old wasn’t initially named, but Taylor-Myles revealed himself after showing off his new cover-up tattoos on a recent trip to Bali.
In a series of photos on his Instagram account on Saturday, Taylor-Myles showed the outline of the new design before revealing the finished product, which appears to be a viking and a bear.
He later posted a photo of himself with the caption, “Gone but not forgotten”.
Taylor-Myles, who plays for the Aquinas Colts, faced a ban from any NSWRL-sanctioned competition if he didn’t cover up.
The tattoos caused a stir when an image of Taylor-Myles was posted on social media after he was selected in the NSWRL Luke Lewis Cup.
Veteran NRL reporter Phil Rothfield said the Sharks weren’t aware of tattoos until the image circulated on social media.
“Just vile,” Rothfield said at the time.
“They are so offensive. It is so homophobic.
“They (the Sharks) didn’t realise. They didn’t check the leg tattoos of every player they pick in rep sides but when a photo was put up on social media of the player, they recognised it and sent it to the New South Wales Rugby League and good on (NSWRL chief executive) Dave Trodden.
“He jumped on it straight away. He said, ‘We have zero tolerance for any form of bullying, harassment or vilification towards people with diverse sexualities and genders’.
“They’ve said to this bloke, ‘Cover them up with tape or you will not play in a New South Wales Rugby League sanctioned competition ever again’.
“I applaud them for coming down so hard on his rubbish.
“He plays in a club where there are a lot of young women and men who participate for the enjoyment, for the camaraderie and it’s just so out of order.”
