Two people were found shot to death in an Oshawa home on Saturday.

A third person was arrested at the scene but few details were immediately available.
Durham Regional Police say officers responded to a residence on Glenforest St. – northeast of Rossland Rd W. and Stevenson Rd. N. – after receiving reports of a shooting around the noon-hour.
“Two people have been located with gunshot wounds and have since succumbed to their injuries,” police said in a statement released Saturday afternoon.
Police said one male was taken into police custody.
“The investigation is currently ongoing and further information will be provided as it becomes available,” police said. “At this time, there is no risk to public safety.”

BOY, 17, ACCUSED OF THREATENING FEMALE
A 17-year-old boy is accused of threatening to sexually assault a female last Sunday.
Toronto Police say officers responded to a call at a residence in the area of Bloor and Shaw Sts. – east of Ossington Ave. – around 10:30 p.m. on July 7.
The victims were standing in their garage off a laneway when a youth started talking to them, police said in a statement.
When the victims ended the conversation, the teenage boy allegedly threatened to sexually assault the female victim.
The boy charged the victims, who managed to get inside the residence, police alleged, adding the boy remained at the scene for a time before fleeing.
Investigators subsequently identified a suspect and arrested him on Friday.

The 17-year-old, who can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with uttering threats of bodily harm and uttering threats of death.

Around 5 p.m., a woman was walking through a trail in L’Amoreaux Park and heard someone running behind her, police say.

An unknown man was getting closer while performing an indecent act. He started to follow the woman and tried to touch her.
Police say the woman went to bystanders for help and the man fled.
The man is described as Asian, 20 to 30 years old, about 5-foot-5, with a heavy build, short black hair, clean shaven, and wearing glasses. At the time, he was wearing a beige T-shirt, black pants and black shoes.

A fourth person suffered minor injuries.
Ontario Provincial Police say the collision happened on Hwy. 12 north of Hwy. 48, near Cannington, around 6:30 a.m.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known, but the OPP say there was heavy fog at the time of the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.

Investigators are looking for a suspect described as a Black male who was wearing a mask and fled the area in a red vehicle.
