CRIME SCENE: Two men shot in Etobicoke

Toronto Police are investigating the shooting of two men in Etobicoke on Saturday night.

Just before midnight, police were called to The Queensway-North Queen St. area around 11:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting but couldn’t find any victims.

A short time later, two men arrived at a hospital with bullet wounds.

Both were listed in serious condition. There is no suspect information.

Hamilton woman found dead in Hamilton

The body of a Hamilton woman who was last seen getting into a vehicle earlier this month was discovered in a rural area in the Town of Lincoln.

The body of Jessica Lynn St. Jules, 27, was discovered on June 8, Niagara Regional Police said on Sunday.

Officers said she was last seen getting into a vehicle at 4:20 am on the day her body was found, near the Hamilton Public Library, on Barton St. in Hamilton.

The vehicle is described as a 2018-2020 Dodge Grand Caravan, granite in colour.

Police are trying to identify the driver and any occupants of this vehicle, believed to frequent the Barton St. area.

Cops investigate mosque incident

Police were called after a man entered a Hamilton mosque and refused to leave.

Hamilton Police said officers removed the man from the building after they were called at 12:40 p.m. on Saturday.

“We are working closely with the mosque and community to better understand what happened, as there are conflicting reports. The investigation is ongoing, and it is too early to determine what took place,” police said in a release.

Therapist charged with sexual assault

A registered massage therapist working in Milton faces a charge after a woman complained she was sexually assaulted.

Halton Regional Police said officers were called after a complainant said she was sexually assaulted while receiving a message.

The suspect was working at Massage Addict, on Louis St. Laurent Ave., at the time of the offence.

Stinderpal Singh Gill, 37, of Brampton — who also goes by the name “Joe” — was charged with sexual assault.

Woman faces third drunk driving charge

A motorist faces her third impaired driving charge in just 15 months, according to Peel Regional Police.

A driver fled after a car crashed into a Mississauga residence on May 30. There were no injuries.

Police have charged Susanna Cherian, 32, of Brampton, with dangerous operation, obstruct police, impaired operation, fail to remain, fail to give required information, and breach of a probation order.

Homicide in Hamilton

Hamilton detectives are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead.

Officers, who found the body Saturday afternoon in the Gage-Main Sts. area, have not released a cause of death.

“The investigation is in the early stages and more information will be released when available,” police said in a release.
