A 43-year-old Ajax man has been charged following an attempted robbery and sexual assault of a store employee in Toronto’s east end last week.

Toronto Police say officers responded to a robbery near Gerrard St. E. and Broadview Ave. around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
A man allegedly entered a commercial business and attempted to tap the cash register. He then allegedly sexually assaulted a store employee.
Investigators subsequently identified a suspect in a news release Saturday morning.
Late Saturday, police said in an update that the suspect was located and arrested.
Garrabet Istanboulian is charged with attempted robbery, sexual assault and breach of probation.

Peel Regional Police allege the incident occurred earlier this month at a clinic near Mclaughlin Rd. and Queen St.
During the massage, it is alleged the client was sexually assaulted. She was not physically injured.
Cops have charged Bassam Hanafi, 81, of Brampton, with one count of sexual assault.
Investigators are concerned about the possibility of other alleged victims.

CONCERN MOUNTING FOR MISSING HAMILTON WOMAN, 23,
Hamilton Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 23-year-old woman who vanished on July 10.
According to cops, Michaela Wachznuik was last seen in the area of Pearl St. N. early in the morning.

Her family and the police are concerned for her well-being.
She’s described as 5-foot-9, 120 pounds, with a fair complexion, shoulder-length brown hair and grey-green eyes. She has a faded birthmark on her right cheek, close to mouth. She also has a tattoo on the inside of her left ring finger.
Police say she may be in the company of a man named Joseph Hebert.

The hunt is on for a bandit who robbed a woman making a cash deposit at a Hamilton Mountain bank on Canada Day.
Hamilton Police say the victim was hit outside the RBC Bank at 752 Upper James St., near Mohawk Rd W., just after 1:30 p.m. on July 1.
Investigators are looking for a suspect described as a light-skinned male, 30-45 years old, with short dark hair, who was wearing a black bucket hat, a green jacket, black pants, white running shoes and a black mask.

Detectives are trying to discover the identity of a suspicious male who engaged a young girl in conversation in Oakville.

Halton Regional Police say an 11-year-old girl was walking her dog in the area of Burloak Dr. and Stedford Rd. around 9:35 a.m. on July 11 when she was approached by a male exiting a pathway.
He initiated a brief conversation with the girl about her dog before returning to the pathway.
While no criminal offence occurred, cops say they want to identify the man, who is described as Black, in his late 30s to early 40s, about six-feet-tall, with a slim build, clean-shaven and he was wearing a black hoodie, dark jeans and black shoes.
