For single mom of three Tanya Bogdanovich, Michael MacGregor, 19, was a game changer.
He was, the Sarnia woman gushed, “the best friend I’ve ever had.”
“I feel so lucky I can’t even believe it. I can feed every need. I can fulfill every urge, I feel no shame about what I like or who I am with you because U (sic) have the (sic) urges or at least ones that work so perfectly with mine,” she said in an email to her young paramour.
Bogdanovich, 32, and her new beau, a decade younger, met in the summer of 2012 on the FetLife website – a destination for people with a penchant for BDSM and assorted other kinks.
They were “a perfect match” and an “epic team.” The newsome twosome both shared violent sexual fantasies and the desire to rape and kill a woman in a forest.

What Bogdanovich wanted was a playmate interested in “rape play.” According to the London Free Press, she even had a “sexual bucket list” and among her priorities was being raped in a forest.
As Mistress Ivy, she was the dominant figure in the relationship. Her alter ego was “mean, cruel, calm, calculated and completely dominates all situations when she gets to be in charge.”
To stoke her fetish fervour, she wrote yarns about sexually assaulting teens. The nurse also admitted she was a sex addict.

For his part, young lover boy confessed to cops that he was malleable and could be talked into “anything.” He had a high sex drive and was down for experimentation. He told Bogdanovich he “wanted to be broken.”
MacGregor shared his new lover’s forest-rape fantasy. On their first meeting, he “raped” her in a conservation area. She later wrote that the experience was “scary and exhilarating.”
Over the months the couple tried every violent and filthy kink that came to mind. Detectives later discovered photos of the pair with a slew of scratches, bruises and knife cuts on their bare bodies. Bogdanovich and MacGregor recorded their violent sexual adventures.
He would dress as a “Ninja pirate” while she was a “puma” and the toy boy her “cub.” She also donned Little Red Riding Hood costumes while MacGregor played “Daddy.”

Once, the pair posted photos of her in her Mistress Ivy persona leading him on a leash through a Sarnia mall.
But there were obstacles to their twisted nirvana: She had a boyfriend and three kids, worked as a nurse and had a lot of sex outside the relationship. MacGregor, on the other hand, was like a puppy dog.
Yet, when he stepped out with another woman, Bogdanovich didn’t like it. Their sex lives needed a new spark.
Bogdanovich wrote online: “Rape brought us together, violence has kept us together, violence has kept us going and rape will be what holds us strong when our bond is challenged.”
“So next time I feel misplaced emotions of any kind I’ll just chant like a little girl, ‘I scream, you scream, we all scream for rape.’”

Channelling schoolgirl killers Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka, the sick duo began discussing raping and murdering a teen girl.
She wrote to her lover: “We should make it like a routine kind of thing where we just approach random girls to get used to it. We can start next week babe.”
Three weeks later, on New Year’s Day 2013, 27-year-old Sarnia kindergarten teacher Noelle Paquette was dead.
Bogdanovich purchased a large knife at a Sarnia Home Hardware store, telling a pal that knife play made her “breathless.” The pair had been trolling Facebook for local teens and even compiled a wish list.
On that New Year’s Eve, when their young target wasn’t available, the sinister pair decided to snatch a random victim. That would be Paquette.

She was attending a party to welcome in 2013. Around 2 a.m., she told pals she would walk home. Friends catching a smoke or a breath of fresh air outside the party spotted MacGregor about 20 yards behind her.
Bogdanovich came along and offered the teacher a ride. Then they picked up MacGregor.
Cops say Paquette was then taken to a forest about 27 km away and repeatedly raped. The killers stabbed her 49 times in the neck and heart.
The killers were thrilled, but on the way back to town their evil machinations came off the rails and their getaway vehicle ran out of oil. Cops spotted the disabled vehicle and officers could not help but notice that her hands and face were covered in blood.
She told them her boyfriend cut himself after they indulged in kinky knifeplay with one another.

On Jan. 2, 2013, a local called cops about a bloody trail in the area. That trail led to Paquette’s lifeless body.
Detectives found three knives at the scene containing the DNA of the pretty teacher – and her killers. And there was evidence her murderers had returned to the scene minutes before 911 was called.
They pleaded guilty to first-degree murder on Feb. 12, 2016, and were sentenced to 25 years in prison. No parole.
Judge Bruce Thomas said: “Your actions are vile and they are despicable and as a result, you will be removed from society for what might perhaps be for the rest of your lives.”
