They have been dabbling in recovery and rejuvenation methods before and after games in a bid to improve their performances.
“Interested and keen to try new ways to better our performance,” Nick told 7NEWS.
The Magpies duo have joined forces with anti-ageing devotee Tim Gurner to help launch a new chain of luxury wellness clubs.
The chain of 10 new clubs will take on rivals Virgin and Fitness First.
They will be similar to Gurner’s Saint Haven wellness centre in Collingwood.
The state-of-the-art facility includes personal training and group fitness, meditation and breathwork, food and nutrition, executive health checks, massage, ancient baths, recovery and longevity treatments, elixir bar, a stunning wholefoods café, and more.
“You’ll actually press a button, white or black at the front door. If you press white, the room will be calm and passive, if you press black it’s gonna be very high octane,” Gurner said.
Memberships for the new venture will cost up to $1000 a month.
“There’s a lot of opportunities here to get better as a human and also in a football sense,” Nick said.
“Got sauna cryotherapy … different exercises, there’s a breath work coach.
“We’re really excited.”
Nick continues to reach extraordinary levels in the AFL.
Still only 21 and in his third season, the prolific midfielder is averaging over 30 possessions and will be right up there in the running for the Brownlow Medal.
Josh is fresh off a stunning year when he won the Collingwood best and fairest, was an All-Australian and a member of the premiership team.
The Magpies have recovered from a rough start to the year to be in fourth place with eight wins and two draws from their 14 matches.
They play Gold Coast this week as they look to maintain their position in the top four.
