The grisly discovery was made after Min’s estranged husband Steven Cho, 39, was found with several stab wounds in a townhouse on Watkins Rd in Baulkham Hills on Tuesday about 10.15am, following calls to police with concerns for his welfare.

CCTV footage been obtained by 7NEWS showing a white SUV it is believed the accused drove from the scene on Monday evening along a road in Sydney’s west.

Earlier, police released the description of a white BMW X5 SUV, in which they believe the 49-year-old was travelling, and are calling for anyone who may have seen the vehicle to come forward.

The 49-year-old man faced a bedside hearing on Thursday morning, where he did not apply for bail.

Police prosecutors will have to supply Yoo and his lawyers with a brief of evidence by April 16 and the matter will be back in court two days later.

He has yet to make any pleas.

Meanwhile, in an update on Wednesday morning, police said they will allege that both the boy and Min were killed during an assault inside the martial arts centre some time between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Monday.

“How it unfolded set off a chain of events which I think is not only tragic in the circumstances, but the consequences were cataclysmic,” Detective Superintendent Daniel Doherty told reporters.

Police charged the man, who was an instructor at the martial arts academy in North Parramatta, about 9pm on Wednesday night.

“What we do know is and what we will allege is the 49-year-old is the only person responsible, and we’ll allege that he’s responsible for the murder of all three victims,” Doherty said.

The 49-year-old man presented at Westmead Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening slash wounds to his chest, arms and stomach early on Tuesday morning.

The man told police he had been attacked in the carpark of a supermarket on Church St in North Parramatta earlier that evening.

The taekwondo studio remained closed on Wednesday as forensics continued to comb for evidence.
