Vancouver Canucks defenceman Tyler Myers will be back in the lineup for Game 3 of the team’s first-round playoff series against the Nashville Predators.
Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet confirmed with reporters Thursday that Myers, who missed Game 2 due to the flu, will play Friday.
The 34-year-old Myers had 29 points (five goals and 24 assists) in 76 games this season while logging an average of 18:54 ice time per game.
He was a plus-1 with two shots on goal in 19:08 ice time during Game 1 Sunday.
Tocchet also said he thinks Brock Boeser is “fine” after the all-star winger left practice early when he appeared to get hit in the arm with a puck.
Boeser led the Canucks with 40 goals during the regular season and was fourth on the team in scoring with 73 points. He has one assist and holds an even plus/minus rating through the first two games of the series.
The series is tied 1-1 and shifts to Nashville for Game 3.
