According to cops, concerned neighbours found White’s body inside the home and contacted police. A gruesome scene met detectives with White’s hands bound and his head partially severed.
Police have not said where White lives in Canada.
One neighbour told the Jamaica Observer that the area is normally peaceful. Marvia — who asked not to be identified — told the newspaper she was disgusted by the sickening crime.
“As a resident, I am concerned, Falmouth not known for these gruesome crimes. Falmouth not known for these bad things. We are a peaceful people and I am very concerned. Trelawny you can sleep with your doors open, now it looks like that will have to stop,” she said.

“That is a very wicked act. No one is safe. We have attacks on the young, old, anyone. We need divine intervention.”
But according to the Jamaica Constabulary Force, as of April 20, Trelawny recorded a 100% increase in homicides in comparison to the corresponding period last year.
So far, there have been eight murders in 2024 compared to the four recorded in 2023.
In October, popular Toronto restaurateur Merrick Aries was brutally murdered in Jamaica. Aries’ partially decomposed corpse was found stashed in bushes in Salt River, Clarendon — an area well-known for criminal activity.
The 43-year-old had been shot multiple times in the head and upper body. Investigators believe he was the victim of a robbery ambush.

Aries was the co-owner of The Diner’s Corner at Yonge and Isabella in downtown Toronto.
Detectives say they are trying to establish a motive for the Canadian man’s shocking slaying. But their working theory is that Aries was lured to the area where he was robbed and murdered.
His rental car was discovered at the scene.
Local media reports that Aries arrived at Sangster International Airport in St. James, Jamaica on Oct. 14 and had been slated to leave. He rented the car in St. James on the day he arrived.
Aries – who friends called Owen – co-owned The Diner’s Corner with his brother. The restaurant was well-known for selling authentic Jamaican cuisine.
The news stunned friends and patrons of The Diner’s Corner.
One Facebook user wrote: “Owen, the co-owner of The Diner’s Corner in Toronto, was a dear friend. Owen always embodied warmth, tranquillity and a commitment to delivering exceptional service, a trait he instilled in his dedicated staff. My heart goes out to Owen’s family and friends, both near and far.”
Aries reportedly immigrated to Canada in 2000 after learning his cooking skills on the island.
