Canada Basketball has announced that 14 players have been invited to training camp ahead of the first window of the FIBA Men’s AmericCup Qualifiers 2025.
Canada will face Nicaragua in St. Catharines, Ont., at the Meridian Centre on Feb. 23 before travelling to Nicaragua for the second leg of the matchup on Feb. 26.
Training camp will run from Feb. 19-22 in St. Catharines.
The 16 teams in the FIBA Men’s AmeriCup 2025 Qualifiers have been split into four groups that will play home and home matchups over three qualifying windows in February and November of 2024 and February of 2025. Canada is in Group C with Nicaragua, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
