Delezio and Salerno, who live in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, shared a video on Instagram from their gender reveal party in July, captioning the clip, “It’s a … BOY!!”.
They started dating during the COVID pandemic in 2021, and then Salerno popped the question on Valentine’s Day in 2023.
Delezio grew up with all of Australia behind her as they watched her remarkable recovery from two shocking incidents.
She suffered serious burns when a car crashed into her Sydney day care centre in 2003, when she was just two years old.
In a second devastating accident, she was hit by a car near her home in 2006 when she was five.
