Boyzone star Keith Duffy has reportedly split from his wife Lisa Smith after 25 years of marriage.
The split has “come as a shock to everyone”, a source told The Mirror.
The couple tied the knot in Las Vegas in 1998, two days after Duffy proposed.

They share two children together, son Jay, 27, and daughter Mia, 23.
“Back in July (2023) they appeared happier than ever while celebrating 25 years together on the trip of a lifetime to the French Riviera,” the source said.
The source added that the pair were trying to “keep the divorce civil” for the sake of their children.
Duffy, 49, is understood to have moved out of their $2.9 million home in Dublin just before Christmas.
The pair have since unfollowed each other on social media, with Duffy said to be “in bits” over the breakdown of their marriage.
Duffy, who also starred in popular British soap Coronation Street, gushed about his wife in a 25th wedding anniversary post on Instagram.
“Celebrating 25 years in style,” he wrote.
“The French Riviera doesn’t disappoint,” he added, going on to thank a stylist for “decking out Smithy in such sexy attire”.
His wife reciprocated, writing: “Celebrating 25 years married to my bestie, longest time ever I’ve had him home all to myself!”
“Love him even more, thanks for the laughs and the joy of being loved, feeling very blessed.”
She finished her post with the hashtag #stillgoingstrong.
But six months later, it seems it was going strong no longer.
‘It’s easy to walk away’
Back in 2020, Duffy spoke about what made his marriage work.
“Number one, you have to want it to work,” he told The Mirror.
“Number two, it takes a lot of compromise.
“Number three, it takes forgiveness.
“Some people can’t make it work, though.
“I’d never judge, but I do think sometimes people give up too easily.
“It’s easy to walk away. It’s harder to stay.”
A month before the couple’s 25th anniversary, Duffy posted to Instagram, reflecting on their wedding day and the years since.
“We’ve had our ups and downs, our fair share of obstacles along the way,” he wrote.
“But our love and friendship and desire, our fight for each other, and we are still going.
“Happy Anniversary Smithy, Our Silver wedding!”
Duffy’s most recent post on Instagram, on January 8, commemorated the death of his father Sean, who died on that day in 2022.
Neither have commented publicly on the split.
