Boden recently caused a stir on its Instagram page with a carousel of images showcasing some of the fashion retailer’s latest workwear outfits. It included an ‘amazing’ ivory cord suit that the brand’s followers have labelled a ‘must-have’ this autumn.
The suit comprises the Relaxed Cord Blazer and Chiswick Cord Trousers and is being worn by a Boden stylist with a white T-shirt, a matching black and ivory belt, and gold jewellery. The ivory blazer is available in sizes four to 22 and also comes in the shades navy and pear liqueur.
The trousers are available in the same sizes, come in three shades – vanilla, kiwi and navy – and three different lengths – petite, regular and long. The blazer costs £140, while the pants are priced at £110, meaning you can get your hands on the full suit for £250.
Each of the garments, however, will look fabulous worn individually. Pair the blazer with a T-shirt and jeans for a smart yet casual look, and wear the trousers with a chunky jumper for a cosy autumn outfit.
Boden’s blazer has a relaxed, single-breasted shape, is fully lined, has two large button fastenings and handy pockets. The wide-leg trousers are fitted through the hips and sit on your waist.
In the comments section underneath the Instagram post showcasing some of Boden’s workwear looks, many of the brand’s followers were quick to compliment the blazer and trousers. One said: “The cord suit is everything [heart eye emoji].”
A second commented: “That first suit is amazing.” A third added: “Love the cord suit. I must have it.”
Some followers complimented the collection of outfits as a whole, with one writing: “So fabulous.” Another penned: “Autumn styles are really nice.” Someone else said: “All gorgeous looks.”
