It’s no big secret that Blake Lively and Gigi Hadid are best friends; the duo even walked the red carpet together for the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere just last week. And what, exactly, should good BFFs do on a step and repeat? Wear each other’s clothing designs, duh.
While doing press for her new film It Ends with Us this week, Lively proudly repped a new piece from Hadid’s clothing line, filling her quota as a supportive friend. The actor wore a brown knit cardigan from Guest in Residence—the knitwear brand founded by Gigi Hadid back in 2022. Giving it a dressier slant, the star paired the cozy staple with Michael Kors’s floral lace embroidered leather slip dress from the label’s fall 2024 collection. The all-over monochromatic look proved that neutrals, in fact, don’t have to be boring.
Lively isn’t the only A-list celebrity to slip into a piece from Hadid’s Guest in Residence: Bradley Cooper, Taylor Swift, and more have all supported the line, too. It makes sense that the model’s squad is modeling her pieces. If your friend designed cute clothes, wouldn’t you hit them up for some? We wonder if they get a friends and family discount—not that they need it.
