Taking a cheeky swipe at her brother, the oldest child of Terri and Steve sparked a public war of words with Robert by posting a photo on Instagram of her 2008 Logie victory.
A baby-faced Bindi was pictured holding up the Silver Logie she won at the ceremony’s 50th iteration for Most Popular New Female Talent following her work in Bindi the Jungle Girl.

Leaving a cheeky caption, she asked fans to support Robert following his Gold Logie nomination for co-hosting I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
“Hey Australia, vote for my awesome brother so he can catch up to me 16 years later…” she captioned the post.
While her 20-year-old brother is the youngest male ever to be up for the prestigious award, the nomination held little weight between the siblings as their rivalry was aired like dirty laundry in the comments section.
“At least mine’s gold 😏,” Robert replied.
“You haven’t won it yet … 😂,” Bindi jabbed.
“Well actually, I did get nominated for 2 Logies. Hahahaha Soooo…. 🤷♂️😂😂”, rebutted Robert.
“Sorry, I can’t hear you over my Emmy award…” Bindi quipped, referring to the award she won as a child for Outstanding Performer in a Children’s Series.
Robert then conceded defeat with a brief reply of “Dang it 🤦♂️”.
Fans of the two became enthralled by their public exchange, with some labelling it as “classic siblings” rivalry.
Posting a screengrab of the discourse on his personal Instagram account, Robert fished for compliments from supporters who weren’t entirely willing to offer them.
“Bindi the jungle girl was simply peak television 💅” one fan commented.
“Can Bindi get nominated so I can vote for her instead hehe,” another teased.
On Monday, the wildlife warrior posted a video to his feed declaring his appreciation for being nominated for both the Gold Logie and the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter.
He’ll have to wait until August 18 to learn his fate, with voting officially open to the public across numerous categories.
