1. New Balance x Samsonite 55cm Spinner Case
Looking to stand out at the baggage carousel?
I can’t get enough of this collaboration between iconic luggage brand Samsonite and New Balance.
Featuring a bold two-tone design, the collection, which ranges between $169-$525, is available to purchase in Black, Mustard and Olive.
My pick of the bunch is this 55cm case in Olive ($375).
But there are also spinner cases available in 68cm and 75cm, giving customers the option to choose a bag, whether they’re going on a weekend getaway, shorter trip or international extravaganza.
Each piece of the NB x Samsonite collaboration features elevated touches, including branded detail, interior webbing and labels.
There are also clever detachable webbing straps on the 68cm and 75cm cases, allowing travellers to hang items like shopping, bags and jackets when they’re travelling.
You’ll also get a little shoe pouch bag with every case, in order to keep your footwear stylishly protected at all times.
I love that this new launch is a bit different from your standard black and navy blue suitcase collection.
It’s high on my shopping list ahead of a trip to the UK in late June.
2. American Tourister x Tones and I Rollio 75cm Case
Next up it’s super fun brand American Tourister, whose Rollio cases set the travel world on fire when they first launched in 2023.
Now, the iconic brand has Aussie singer/songwriter Tones and I on board as brand ambassador, and the cases are looking better than ever.
My favourite this year is the Medium (75cm) Rollio in Coral and Blue.
Not only is it cute and looks stylish, but it has all the features you would expect from a high-end suitcase, like combination locks, double wheels and an organiser.
It’s also super easy to wheel around, which is key when travelling the world.
3. Antler Icon Stripe Medium in Moorland Pink
Antler is an iconic suitcase brand, and with good reason.
It has a reputation for turning out excellent quality, stylish bags everyone — from your mum to your partner — loves.
This Icon Stripe Medium Case in Moorland Pink (usually $349, currently $244.30) is an excellent buy, particularly while it’s on sale.
Crafted from the highest quality, using recycled polycarbonate, the hardwearing shell ensures your belongings are well protected when stowed in the car boot or placed in the luggage rack.
Described as the ultimate all-rounder for any adventure, whether you’re chasing the coastline or seeking the sun, this suitcase is perfectly sized for trips ranging from 2-7 days, providing ample space for a week away.
4. July Checked Plus Expandable in Brown
Last but not least, no new luggage wrap is complete without July — particularly given that the brand is the official luggage supplier of the Australian Olympic Team for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
My pick from the brand right now is the delicious chocolate brown colourway, which I am eyeing off for my own Europe trip next month.
The Checked Plus Expandable ($425) in Chocolate Brown features 80L of space, which can be grown to 90L if you unzip to expand it.
It also nests perfectly with smaller options on the July website, making storage super easy too.
Reviewers can’t get enough of the case, and it has an average 4.9 star rating.
“The colour is fabulous! The quality is a high standard. The customer service from July was outstanding,” one shopper wrote.
“Loved it, super sleek and works perfectly with the eight packing cubes. Very functional and easy to use. It wasn’t a game changer for cobblestones in Europe, but it worked pretty well!” another added.
