Best lip balms for winter: Burt’s Bees moisturising balm is one of the best-selling beauty buys on Amazon

One of the most essential products in my handbag is my lip balm, particularly when the weather cools off and we head into winter.

No matter how much I nourish them overnight with some of the more expensive lip masks they require the utmost care and re-application in the morning, for which I rely on my collection of flavoured Burt’s Bees.

The brand is well-known in the balm space for being ultra moisturising and 100 per cent natural, so it’s no surprise that it’s a top seller on Amazon.

You can buy a four pack of flavoured balms for $18.95, which works out to be about $4.73 per stick.

Each balm contains soothing vitamin E and responsibly sourced beeswax.

And the lip balms are formulated without parabens, phthalates, petrolatum or SLS and are never tested on animals.

There are no less than 30,000 reviews of the lip balms on Amazon, a huge feat for any brand.

“This product was perfect for a household full of girls. Great quality and come in a variety of scents,” one customer wrote.

“These are the best flavours of Burt’s Bees lip balm. Such excellent value for money for the best lip balm on the market. I have one in the car, in my handbag, next to my bed, my computer, near the TV… They are essential,” said another.

“My only problem is my kids and hubby steal them.”

A third added: “One of the best classic, go-to lip balms. This pack of four comes with mango and pink grapefruit that both smell amazing (mango smells true to scent, pink grapefruit smells like sweet lemonade) and are more uncommon sold as singles”.
