An Australian Olympian arrested in Paris allegedly trying to buy cocaine has been identified as Kookaburras star Thomas Craig.
The Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) confirmed an Australian hockey team member was in custody after being arrested on Tuesday in Paris.

No charges have been laid.
The AOC is continuing to make inquiries and arrange support for the team member.
It’s understood officials were initially unaware that there had been an incident involving a team member.
One gram of cocaine for personal use is illegal in France.
The Paris Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that police officers witnessed the cocaine transaction outside a building in the 9th arrondissement late on Tuesday.
The seller was also arrested.
It said given the quantities of narcotics seized from the seller, the investigation was entrusted to the Narcotics Squad.
