A wedding guest has raised eyebrows over her controversial outfit choice.
Olivia Molly Rogers wore an eye-catching off-the-shoulder maxi dress — made from sheer chiffon fabric — at her friend’s wedding.
The former Miss Universe Australia winner shared a series of pictures of herself wearing the stunning statement piece.

However, some fans claimed the model had upstaged the bride with a racy see-through ensemble — while others suggested the gown was not appropriate for the occasion.
“Beautiful person and outfit but quite inappropriate for a wedding,” one said.
Another suggested: “The dress to a party yes but not a wedding. It’s about the bride, not a guest because I’m sure there would of been critics at the wedding just wouldn’t of said anything, but each to their own”.
One shared: “I love the colour and style of the dress but quite shocked to see a naked dress worn to a wedding — would have opted for a slip above the knee under the dress or worn to a different event”.
Another explained how the guest’s dress may have taken the attention from the bride.
“I personally would have been okay if I was the bride but I probably wouldn’t enjoy the backlash from my mother and other family members. Would have taken the focus off my special day and what it should be all about. A celebration of our love,” one said.
Another agreed, saying: “Yes exactly. A celebration of love. Not risking the possibility of any attention being taken away from the bride or groom. Every outfit has a time and place.”
However, not everyone agreed with the critics, with many describing Olivia’s dress as “gorgeous”, “spectacular” and “perfection”.
