Tata Motors also said that the Altroz is the first hatchback in India to earn the prestigious 5 Star Global NCAP Safety rating. Expanding the Altroz lineup, Tata Motors also introduced two new variants, the XZ LUX and XZ+S LUX, and upgraded the XZ+OS variant.

The Altroz Racer stands out as the top-tier version of the Altroz, packed with advanced features including a 360-degree camera, a 26.03 cm infotainment touchscreen, ventilated seats, and six standard airbags.
This sporty variant of the Altroz introduces a high-performance 1.2 L Turbo petrol engine, delivering 120 Ps at 5500 rpm and 170 Nm of torque from 1750 to 4000 rpm.
Notably, it is the only hatchback in its segment to offer a six-speed manual gearbox, ensuring agile performance in both city and highway driving conditions.
The Racer will be available in three variants—R1, R2, and R3—and three distinctive colors: Pure Grey, Atomic Orange, and Avenue White.
These new variants offer a range of powertrains including petrol manual, petrol DCA, diesel, and CNG options, further enhancing the Altroz’s appeal.
