One of the most enjoyable parts of revisiting the glittering-yet-venomous world of Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl? The celebrity cameos. They range in scope from prescient inclusions of future legends—kudos to Blair, who orchestrated Lady Gaga’s performance of “Bad Romance” at an NYU party in Season 3—to a deliciously cheesy incorporation of the face that launched a million lipsticks, Elizabeth Hurley (lucky Nate). Elsewhere, Gwen Stefani gives a performance of Adam and the Ants’ “Stand and Deliver,” Tyra Banks gives everything she’s got as a personal assistant, and Alexa Chung pops up at a fashion show hosted by Blair, delivering the immortal line “There’s no way in hell I’m going out there” after Serena pronounces the show the embodiment of “exploitation.” (Drama!)
