AC/DC 2024 tour kicks off with epic live footage of Brian Johnson, Angus Young | Music | Entertainment

Last October, AC/DC had a one off gig in California which was their first live show together in seven years.

Since then, Brian Johnson and Angus Young announced the band would be returning to touring in 2024 in support of their 2020 album Power Up.

Last night, the rock legends kicked off the tour at the 62,000 capacity VELTINS-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

According to NME, the band’s setlist was almost identical to their comeback gig at Power Trip Festival last year, aside from a couple of order changes.

The 24-song set kicked off with If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It) and Back In Black.

The band played through classics like Thunderstruck and Hells Bells all the way to an encore of T.N.T and For Those About to Rock (We Salute You).

AC/DC are set to perform in Spain, Austria, Switzerland and more European countries before two dates in London’s Wembley Stadium on July 3 and 7. Meanwhile, the tour will conclude in Dublin’s Croke Park on August 17.
