2024 Emmys: Sarah Paulson Gushes Over Her Relationship With Holland Taylor: “My Absolute Rock”
Sarah Paulson is most proud of her role as Holland Taylor’s girlfriend.
During the 2024 Emmys red carpet, the American Horror Story actress exclusively detailed why she—despite earning a nomination for her guest role in Mr. and Mrs. Smith—was simply happy to be supporting her girlfriend through her Outstanding Supporting Actress nod for The Morning Show.
“Holland has been my absolute rock and has been with me in all of these things for many years and tonight I’m the girl that gets to hold her purse,” Sarah exclusively gushed to Laverne Cox on Live From E!: Emmys. “My nomination was last weekend, she’s the Primetime Emmy nominee, and I feel very honored to be standing here.”
Indeed, Sarah’s award show category—which ended up going to Michaela Coel for her own guest appearance in Mr. and Mrs. Smith—was announced at the 2024 Creative Arts Emmys Sept. 8, but Holland, 81, didn’t hold back from praising Sarah, 49, for already tying her in Emmy nominations so early in her career.
“Both nine, I’ve had much longer to accomplish that,” Holland added to E!. “Decades longer.”
