Victoria has been rocked by a second earthquake in a week.
The magnitude 3.4 earthquake was recorded at Hamilton, in the state’s southwest, at 5.09am on Thursday.
The quake had a depth of 3km.

VIC SES said there had not been many felt reports and that it was not anticipating any damage.
One local Hamilton resident wrote online that she had felt her bedroom window rattling.
“(It) woke me up,” another person said.
On Monday, a 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck Sandy Point, near Wilsons Promontory.
It occurred at a depth of about 10km.
The two quakes come weeks after a larger 4.1 magnitude earthquake rattled Victoria’s high country on August 7.
Geoscience Australia senior seismologist Professor Phil Cummins said the tremor that struck Woods Point, a small town east of Melbourne, was an aftershock from Victoria’s record 5.9 magnitude earthquake in September 2021.
