A woman whose body was found in bushland in northern NSW has been identified as a Queensland grandmother who disappeared in February.
Wendy Hansen, aged 63, was found dead by police in bushland near Jordan Esplanade, Coffs Harbour, on Tuesday June 18.
She had been half buried.

A search was earlier launched for the grandmother after she was last seen withdrawing cash from an ATM on Newton St in Monto, about 170km west of Bundaberg, on Thursday, February 29.
“When she failed to return home, and was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Queensland Police Service were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts,” NSW Police said.
CCTV showed Hansen driving south on the Bruce Highway near Wild Horse Mountain on the Sunshine Coast, about 2.30pm the same day.
She was driving a silver 2007 two-door Mitsubishi Pajero with Queensland registration 645TCZ, police said.
An investigation has been launched to investigate the suspicious death.
Homicide Squad detectives are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The whereabouts of Hansen’s car is of specific interest, police said.
