Swindell and his wife Sarah said they fear that she is with “dangerous” ex-boyfriend Morgan Guidry, whom they alleged is in “trouble with law from when he assaulted her last month.
“Our daughter Brenna Swindell has not been seen or heard from in the Austin area since late Thursday afternoon,” the Swindell family posted on Facebook.
“Her phone is off and she has not been in contact with family, friends, and most importantly her children. Her ex-boyfriend in the photo has a warrant and is violent so please if you have seen or heard from either one of them, let us know. She drives a white Kia Carnival which has not been located yet.”
In a later update, they added: “They were seen together Thursday night and we have managed to get a GPS on the KIA that is now in Colorado. Both phones seem to be there but both are turned off. License plate VFS7528 white Kia Carnival.”
On X, Swindell shared a missing persons report from the City of Austin.

Swindell also posted that Brenna left without telling her three children – something they claim she would never do.
According to reports, the missing white Kia was last seen in Colorado on Friday evening, with possible sightings of Guidry and the van in Colorado Springs on Sunday.
“Please continue to pray for the safe return,” Swindell wrote. “Thank you all so much again.”
Swindell confirmed that he had been in touch with Guidry’s father, who had been co-operating with the search.

Brenna was described as 5-foot-4, weighing between 120-140 pounds and having shoulder-length brown hair. She has tattoos on both arms, including a sleeve of flowers on one arm and a spider web on her other shoulder.

“Again, her boyfriend is in trouble with law from when he (allegedly) assaulted her last month and we don’t know if she went with him willingly, was talked into running away with him, or what. I still feel she would never abandon her three children or just take off without explanation. So until we can prove otherwise, we feel she is in danger,” Sarah wrote in a joint Facebook post from family members.
During his MLB career, Swindell logged a 3.86 ERA while pitching for several teams, including Cleveland, Cincinnati, Houston, Boston and Arizona. He was an all-star in 1989 and won the World Series with the Diamondbacks in 2001.
