Contestants Mike and Pete are ready to tell it like it is on the new season of reality TV cooking competition MKR, coming soon to Channel 7 and 7plus.
These long-time friends know they can cook, now they’re ready to dish up more than just their meals.

Pete promises to bring flair to the menu while Mike’s unfiltered banter will add spice to the conversation and ruffle feathers among the other contestants at the table.
“We’re going to tell it like it is,” Mike says in the teaser for the new series of the popular show.
“There’s no controlling Mike’s mouth,” Pete says.
Based in Western Australia, Mike and Pete are proud of their Italian heritage and passion for authentic, home-style cooking.
Declaring many of their competitors’ dishes “easy”, Mike assures fans of the show: “We are going to have one of the best instant restaurants in MKR history.”
Meanwhile, Pete says: “I’ve never had a bad review on my cannoli.”
In what is sure to be one of the most anticipated instant restaurants in MKR, viewers will be itching to see if Mike and Pete can stand the heat in the kitchen.
MKR features co-hosts and judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge travelling across the country to meet Australia’s most passionate home cooks: real people, cooking real food, in their own homes.
