(NewsNation) — Vice President Kamala Harris may have had to wait a few minutes for an endorsement from President Joe Biden, but when it came, it did so with tremendous praise.
In Biden’s initial statement on X, the former Twitter, he did not endorse any candidate, but nearly a half-hour after that post, Harris was endorsed in a separate tweet.
“I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year,” Biden wrote. “Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.”
