Who is Ingrid Andress, the Home Run Derby National anthem singer?

ARLINGTON, TX (WTRF)- Ingrid Andress sang the National Anthem before the Major League Baseball Home Run Derby on Monday and it’s being labeled as one of the worst performances ever.

Andress is an American country music singer-songwriter. She’s 32 years old and has been nominated for four Grammy awards. She has also had two singles reach the US top 50 charts.

Andress was a topic of conversation on Monday night, where a bunch of users compared her National Anthem to Fergie’s performance in 2018.

Sports Illustrated writer Alex Carr said: “I’m so sorry, I’m sure Ingrid Andress is a wonderful person, but that was one of the worst national anthems I think I’ve ever heard in my whole life.”

One user wrote, “Ingrid Andress has been placed on the 60 day IL with a torn esophagus.”

Before her performance, Andress announced a new single is coming out on July 24th called “Colorado 9.”

Andress has not posted anything on social media after the performance.
