Toronto Police have charged a man in a prowl-by-night investigation.

On June 2 at about midnight, police said they were called about a suspected prowler in the Spadina Ave.-College St. area.
Police said a woman was in her bedroom when someone alleged peered into her bedroom window. The woman was unaware of the suspect and he fled.
Police said that on June 7 at 12:26 a.m., someone was allegedly seen looking into the woman’s bedroom window again. A suspect was located and subsequently arrested.
William Shorten, 57, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with two counts of trespassing at night and possession of a break-in instrument.
Police believe there may be more victims.

Seven men have been charged following a human-trafficking investigation in Durham Region.
Project Firebird was launched between May and June. Police said that “multiple individuals” allegedly arranged meetings for sexual services with minors.
Seven males were taken into custody without incident.
Idrish Patel, 25, of Whitby; Eric Volpert, 59, of Ajax; Othniel Brouet, 27, of Whitby; Haroon Mohammadi, 26, of Oshawa; Marcus Johnson, 26, of Whitby; Thomas Pevalin, 24, of Whitby; and Daniel Euripidou, 32, of Oshawa were all charged with luring a person for the purpose of obtaining sexual services under 18, obtaining sexual services under 18 and invitation to sexual touching under 16.

CHARGES LAID AFTER HAMILTON CRASH
Hamilton Police have charged a man following a head-on collision in Ancaster that happened in February.
On Feb. 27 just before 4:45 p.m., police responded to the area of Trinity Rd. and Butter Rd. after reports of a head-on collision.
A white Hyundai Elantra sedan and a grey GMC Yukon Suburban hit each other head on.
Police have identified the driver involved in the collision as a 36-year-old man from Caledonia, who was operating his vehicle with a suspended licence.
He has been charged with dangerous operation causing bodily harm.
