A motorist pulled over for a breath and drug test is now facing serious charges after police allegedly found 50kg cannabis in his car.
New South Wales Highway Patrol officers intercepted the man’s Kia Carnival on Burley Griffin Way in Temora, north of Wagga Wagga for a breath and drug test about 7am on Tuesday.
He allegedly returned a positive drug test, which prompted police to search his car where they allegedly found 100 individual sealed plastic bags of cannabis bud, weighing in at just under 50kg.
The driver was arrested and taken to Temora police station, where he was charged with supplying a commercial quantity of prohibited drugs and refused bail.

He is due to face court at a later date.
