Instead, hundreds of anti-Israel protesters crashed the celebration and brought proceedings to a halt which should shatter any illusions that Gaza is an LGBTQ paradise.
In Philadelphia, hundreds of celebrants for Pride were met head-on by their recent allies. Pro-Palestinian protesters screamed:“Palestine will live forever! From the sea to the river!”

The blocking took place at the end of the parade route, according to a video posted on X by conservative commentator Jack Posobiec.
The Philly Pride March and Festival kicked off around 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Washington Square and marched toward the City of Brotherly Love’s Gayborhood area.
According to the New York Post, the protesters screamed: “PPP, KKK, IOF they are all the same!”

Police eventually corralled the protesters to one side of the junction. Posobiec said LGBTQ revellers looked on perplexed at the action.
Previously, many in the LGBTQ community had vocally sided with the Palestinian cause despite the massacre of 1,300 Israelis on Oct. 7, which triggered the latest war.

The alliance was always an odd one because of rampant homophobia and violence towards LGBTQ residents of Gaza prior to the terror attacks on Israel.
The Post reported that some members of the anti-Israel pack sported rainbow flags, declaring “no pride in genocide.” And of course, the protesters were resplendent in their Palestinian-style Kufiya scarves.

In New York City, a lunatic protesting the Israel Day Parade held up an anti-Semitic sign that read: “Kill Hostages Now.”
Since Oct. 7, anti-Semitism has skyrocketed in both the U.S. and Canada. On Friday, Toronto Police reported that hate crimes were up a staggering 47% in 2023 with a bigger increase slated for 2024. More than half targeted Jews.
It’s a far cry from last fall when the alliance between the LGBTQ community and pro-Hamas activists was in full bloom.
