Miami pro boxer accused of posting nude images of ex’s new girlfriend

A Miami professional boxer and powerlifter is accused of hacking her former boyfriend’s computer and posting nude images of his new girlfriend in an effort to embarrass her.

Stefanie Cohen Magarici, who goes by Stefi Cohen on social media, was arrested May 28 and charged with sexual cyber-harassment, offenses against computer users, criminal mischief and resisting arrest without violence, reports NBC affiliate WTVJ.

According to her Instagram account, the 32-year-old Cohen, originally from Venezuela, has more than 1 million followers and boasts of being a 25-time powerlifting champion. That account, as well as a personal page, are now set to private.

According to an arrest report, a computer was left at Cohen’s home by an ex-boyfriend in March 2022.

Cohen is alleged to have gained access to the man’s Apple iCloud account by guessing the password correctly. After opening up the account, she found sexually explicit images of the man’s girlfriend.

She then saved the photos and shared them to group chats that the other woman was included in, the arrest report said.

“In one of the messages, Ms. Cohen states she sent the photos maliciously and with the intent to cause emotional distress to (the victim),” police alleged, according to ABC affiliate WPLG.

The victim told investigators that the images were only sent to her boyfriend for him to view, and that she never gave consent for them to be shared elsewhere.

Last week, a police officer approached Cohen and told her she was under arrest, the report said. The woman allegedly resisted arrest.

Two officers were able to take Cohen into custody. However, while handcuffed, she tried to sweep an officer off their feet with her leg.

In addition, while sitting in the police car, Cohen is alleged to have intentionally broken the door locks with her toes.
