Hockey bad boy Sean Avery and TV star Mary-Kate Olsen love link?

NHL journeyman and perpetual hockey villain Sean Avery is putting more points on the board in his dating life than he ever did on the ice.

Now, according to the New York Post and a slew of paparazzi snapshots, it appears Avery has re-hooked up with fashion designer and former Full House star Mary-Kate Olsen.

The newsome twosome were photographed in the Hamptons over the Memorial Day weekend stopping by her newly opened The Row store.

Reports suggest that the pair looked like they would be more at home on the Big Apple’s gritty Lower East Side than in the yacht and polo pony-infused Hamptons.

She wore her usual oversized clothes in a layered style (with scarves, a beanie and sunglasses, natch) while he donned grey sweatpants, a T-shirt, runners and a backward baseball cap. He completed his ensemble with sunglasses, a coffee and a cigarette.

For Olsen, 37, and Avery, 44, who initially were connected in 2007 and remained friends, they kept it zipped when contacted by the Post.

Former New York Ranger and Pittsburgh Penguin Avery has been linked to several beautiful women who weren’t deterred by his hotheaded reputation on the ice — and off.

Most famously, when celebrity hockey fan Elisha Cuthbert kicked Avery to the curb in 2007, he had a few things to get off his chest. By the next year, Cuthbert had moved on to former Toronto Maple Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf.

At the time, Phaneuf was toiling for Calgary.

Pickering native Avery, then with the Kings, told reporters: “I’m really happy to be back in Calgary; I love Canada. I just want to comment on how it’s become like a common thing in the NHL for guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds. I don’t know what that’s about, but enjoy the game tonight.”

Avery was suspended for six games for that shot at Cuthbert.

And his estranged wife, model Hilary Rhoda also apparently had enough of Avery when she filed for divorce in 2022 after seven years of being married. The couple has a son and Rhoda wants sole physical custody of the boy.

She also accused Avery of both domestic and child abuse. Rhoda was granted an order of protection that remains in place.

Earlier, Rhoda’s mom was also granted a temporary restraining order against Avery for harassment.

During his NHL career, Avery built a rep as someone who is difficult to get along with and he has been dogged by one controversy after another.

As a result of his alleged bullying on the ice and in the dressing room, he was frequently traded, cementing his reputation as a trivia question for sports geeks.

In 2014, he blasted the producers of Dancing With the Stars when he was booted from the show because he unleashed his infamous temper on the showrunners. He also quit an off-Broadway play after a dispute with a crew member.

Then, in June 2023, as a cycling vigilante, he was convicted of attempted criminal mischief for ramming his scooter into a minivan that was blocking a bike lane. He was using his Instagram account, @officer_avery, to keep New York’s bike lanes clear.

Avery has modelled, and dabbled in fashion, Madison Ave., real estate and restos. He also has a podcast.

Olsen had previously been married to French billionaire banker Olivier Sarkozy. They were hitched in 2015 and called it quits in 2021 when she field for divorce.

Sarkozy, 55, moved on to Real Housewives of New York City alumni Luann de Lesseps, but by April, the relationship was over.
