This year’s Cannes Film Festival was one for the books. The lineup of new films, for starters, was both buzzy and critically acclaimed: projects such as Sean Baker’s Anora, Yorgos Lanthimos’s Kinds of Kindness, and Andrea Arnold’s Bird lead the pack with unique stories and exceptional casts.
