When it comes to fashion editors’ secrets, if I know one thing it’s that they are usually expensive.
Which is why I didn’t quite expect the answer to be Target when I clicked the outfit details of former editor Tamara Davis’s Instagram post over the weekend.
The fashion editor mum-of-one shared the details of a $35 Oversized Chunky Knit she picked up from Target, styling the budget-friendly piece tucked into jeans and with chunky jewellery.

She wrote on Instagram: “A fun knit I scored for next to nothing while I was supposed to be grocery shopping”.
And it wasn’t long before hundreds of people in the comments were quick to compliment the look and say they would be rushing to also snap one up.
“Omg I love these colours,” wrote one commenter.
“Oh, you just know I’ll be buying this one,” added another.
The oversized chunky knit in question features lavender and the colour of the season red stripes, with a stylish relaxed fit and feel.
Crafted from a luxurious blend of acrylic, polyester, and nylon, it has been made to ensure “both comfort and durability”.
It’s also only one of a number of great fashion knitwear and winter hits from Target this season.
Others are loving the budget store’s coats, particularly the Longline Wrap Coat ($80), which looks like it could retail for hundreds of dollars instead of just $80.
Crafted from high-quality polyester and fully lined, the coat offers a snug fit.
The round collared neckline and long sleeves add a touch of refinement, while the front wrap design creates an effortlessly chic look.
You can currently buy the coat in grey, camel or black.
Finally, many are loving Target’s $20 Oversized Puffer Vest, loving it for everything from weekend walks to gym classes.
The vest itself has been highly praised on Instagram and is currently half price at just $20.
Made from a polyester/nylon blended fabrication, the vest has a nice thick filling for warmth, and it can be layered over jumpers for an extra chunky look.
