The Best Looks From the 2024 Gold Gala

The annual Gold Gala, sometimes known as the “Asian Pacific Met Gala,” celebrates Asian and Pacific Islander trailblazers innovating across industries. At this year’s affair, which took place on Saturday night, designer Prabal Gurung served as the creative director, and Lucy Liu and Padma Lakshmi were among the stars honored.

On the red carpet preceding the ceremony, many celebrities chose to spotlight vibrant designers from across the world. While Mean Girls star Avantika wore a floral gown by the Lebanese designer Geyanna Youness, singer Karruehce Tran picked out a bold monochromatic look by Thai Nguyen Atelier, a Viatnamese-American house.

Other stars, like Michelle Yeoh and Cynthia Erivo, opted for looks fresh off the Paris runways. Yeoh wore a Schiaparelli spring 2024 skirt suit with gold accents, while Erivo slipped into a grape-printed skit from Balmain’s fall 2024 collection.
