(FOX40.COM) — Babies “R” Us is coming to Kohl’s locations across the country later this year, Kohl’s announced Thursday.
According to the retail company, there will be Babies “R” Us shops at 200 Kohl’s stores nationwide. The first shops will open in August and will continue to roll out in fall 2024.
Kohl’s first announced a partnership with Babies “R” Us in March in an effort to broaden the retailer’s reach to include young families.
“Evolving our assortment and bringing more relevant product to the millions of customers we serve is a core focus as we continue to deliver on Kohl’s broader growth strategy,” Kohl’s chief executive officer Tom Kingsbury said in a press release. “We see significant opportunity in the baby gear category, and partnering with Babies “R” Us is another example of how we are finding new ways to optimize our assortment and further establish Kohl’s as the go-to brand for families.”
Babies “R” Us shops will have 750 to 2,500 square feet of dedicated space inside Kohl’s, according to the company. Kohl’s clothing brands such as Graco, Chicco, Boppy, Skip Hop, Delta Children, Fisher-Price and Carter’s will be among the apparel offered at Babies “R” Us.
The addition of Babies “R” Us includes an expanded inventory of baby products on Kohl’s website and a family registry at the store.
Other baby products such as toys, strollers, car seats and nursery furniture are items available on the store’s website.
