One of Farmer Wants a Wife’s favourite couples has returned to offer advice to good friend and current farmer, Joe.
Farmer Joe is childhood friends with Andrew Guthrie, who found love on the show with his now-wife Jess Nathan in 2021.

Joe enlisted their help to choose a lady to take on a solo date before he chooses his final two.
“I’m so excited to meet the girls, see what they’re like and see what Joey’s been going through for the last few weeks,” Jess told producers.
Andrew called it a “daunting experience” — excited to see how his friend was handling the situation.
The couple split up to speak with the three ladies one-on-one, with Jess first pulling Sarah aside for a conversation.
Sarah admitted it “has been a little bit tough, it’s definitely getting harder now,” with Jess nodding understandingly.
Jess later expressed that from her view, “On paper, Sarah and Joey are a match made in heaven”.
Andrew spoke with Keely, who had a similar outlook, telling the farmer that “it’s been tough, a lot of ups and downs”.
“After having that conversation with her, I’ve got no questions that she’s here for the right reasons,” Andrew later told producers.
Finally, Jess pulled Claire away for a chat.
“We were able to get pretty deep, pretty quickly,” Claire told Jess of her first 24-hour date with Joe.
“I have tried to put myself forward, but it’s difficult to find that balance.”
Trying to help, Jess asked what Joe could do to assist the situation, and the answer was simple — Claire needed more time with her farmer.
Jess later said she wants to remind Joe to “pay Claire a little more attention, I think she needs that right now”.
“The next date could be a real game-changer for who he decides who his top two will be.”
The couple then relayed their feedback to Joe, reiterating their positive views on all three ladies.
Jess did add that Claire needed “a bit more one-on-one time” before teasing that “they’re all really cool”.
“Which one do you want to marry? It’s called Farmer Wants a Wife, not Farmer Wants a Girlfriend,” she boldly asked, prompting both Joe and Andrew to break out into laughter.
Joe said their comments were “fantastic,” and trusted they would make the right call on who he should take on his next date.
The lucky lady the couple chose was Claire, explaining that she could use the extra time to strengthen her connection.
Joe said the date could be the “catalyst to put me and Claire back on the right track”.
