Police said this was not a random act as the victim, who has not been named, and the alleged attacker were known to each other.
Andrew Galea, 49, of no fixed address, is wanted for second-degree murder, police said.

“As this incident involved a weapon, members of the public who see Andrew should consider him armed; they are reminded to dial 911 immediately and not to approach,” a Peel police news release said.
Anyone with information about the investigation or Galea’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Peel Regional Police homicide bureau at 905-453-2121, Ext. 3205, or Peel Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
