The moment took place on the red carpet for the Olivier Awards outside the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The Game of Thrones star stunned in a custom Marchesa gown, before later making three outfit changes during the ceremony.

In the video, the photographer’s comment could not be heard, however, she was quick to respond, “Oh my God, you’d never say that to a man, my friend”.

“Don’t be a d*** otherwise I’ll move off.”

Onlookers applauded as she continued, “Don’t say ‘show me leg,’ No.”

Walking away, she continued to express her outrage, pointing to the photographer and adding, “Learn some manners, learn some manners”.

Fans were quick to praise the actress.

“Well done @hanwaddingham, and she’s absolutely spot on with the comment about him not asking a man to do that, so don’t ask a woman,” one X user said.

“I love her for calling him out in front of everyone!” added a second.

“She’s a bloody legend,” wrote a third.

Another added: “Good for her, well done!”

Waddingham hosted the awards that celebrated theatre in the UK.
