“Just like you, we simply adore him. What you might not know, but maybe you could imagine, that being wrapped in his arms is the safest place in this whole wide world,” Emma shared in an Instagram post alongside a photo of the Die Hard star holding one of his daughters.

“He’s a true gentle-man. With so much love to give and share. That’s what I get to see, his true core. I can tell you, it’s so pure and ever so good. Happy Birthday my love. You are the gift that keeps giving,” she added.

Willis’ ex Moore, who was married to the actor from 1987 to 2000, shared a photo of the two of them clasping hands, writing, “Happy birthday, BW! We love you and are so grateful for you.”

Willis’ three adult children that he shares with Moore also paid tribute to their dad, who stepped away from acting in March 2022 after being diagnosed with aphasia.

“Oh Daddio, to be loved by you is such a gift,” Rumer, 35, wrote on Instagram alongside a slideshow of throwback photos. “You are the funniest, most tender, charming, out of this world silly talented and magical papa. Looking through these photos this morning I am just filled with the deepest gratitude that we chose to spend this life together.”

She continued, “I am your first baby and man sometimes I wish I could be tiny enough to just cozy up on your chest again and laugh and cuddle you. I love you so deep in my bones I don’t know how my muscles hold them. You are the greatest papa I could ever hope for. Thank you for your generosity, your silliness and heart. Lou (Willis’ granddaughter) loves you so big.”

Scout, 32, called her dad “a tender, moody, beautiful, very Piscean man, whose depth of love for his family can only be felt, not articulated.”

“Wild how so little has changed even though so much has changed. My dad is one of my best friends, perhaps now on a deeper level than ever honestly. I cherish his affection and the immense freedom with which he’s always loved us,” she shared in a poignant Instagram post.

On her Instagram Story, Tallulah, 30, shared her sisters tributes and a video of her dad shaving her head.

Willis stepped away from acting in March 2022 after his family revealed he was suffering from aphasia — a neurological affliction that leaves a person unable to communicate.

But his condition worsened and last year his family confirmed that the father of five is suffering from frontotemporal dementia.

“FTD is a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and can strike anyone,” the Pulp Fiction star’s loved ones wrote in a statement on the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration website.

During her appearance on the TODAY show last fall, Emma said that learning her husband’s affliction was both “the blessing and the curse.” The former model said that the family was grateful to “finally understand what is happening.” But she added “it doesn’t make it any less painful.”

Earlier this month, Emma said that following the horrific diagnosis, Bruce and his family have embarked on a “new chapter.”

“There is grief and sadness. There’s all of that. But you start a new chapter,” she said, adding that her family’s life is now filled “with love, it’s filled with connection, it’s filled with joy, it’s filled with happiness.”
