AARO report on UFO sightings to be released Friday: Sources

(NewsNation) — A report by the Department of Defense office tasked with investigating UAP sightings is set to be released Friday, multiple sources told NewsNation special correspondent Ross Coulthart.

The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) report, sources said, will be an “unequivocal rejection of an NHI presence or that the U.S. has retrieval craft.” NHI stands for “non-human intelligence.”

“This is intended to shut down #UAP commentary for good,” Coulthart said Thursday on social media platform X.

Coulthart interviewed career intelligence official David Grusch last summer, who alleged a U.S. government cover-up of secret UFO programs. Earlier this week, Coulthart said on “Elizabeth Vargas Reports” that the Pentagon and AARO hosted a briefing with media outlets, though NewsNation was not invited to attend.

The Department of Defense has previously released statements denying Grusch’s claims.

“To date, AARO has not discovered any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of any extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently,” a spokesperson said. “AARO is committed to following the data and it’s investigation wherever it leads.”

Set up in 2022, AARO has made some photos and videos available on its website.
