“Happy 1st Birthday to our beautiful boy 🤍 we love you more than anything in this world,” Frost captioned the March 7 post.
“Thank you for the best year of our lives xxxx.”
In the first picture, Hansen holds Ted as Frost holds up a bunch of balloons, including a big helium “1”.
Two other photos show Hansen and Frost playing with baby Ted at the beach.
Many of Frost’s fans could barely believe it was a year since Ted was born, noting how quickly the past 12 months had gone.
“What??” wrote Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou.
“Wow, happy birthday, gorgeous Ted ❤.”
“How is he one already!?” wondered another.
“What a magical year, the hardest yet so rewarding.
“Well done to you both for getting through the challenges of parenting. And happy birthday, Ted!”
“Woah, how time flies!” noted a third.
Celebrity fans to wish Ted a happy birthday included comedian Rove McManus, model Megan Gale, SAS Australia star Tim Robards, fellow Home and Away actresses Sarah Roberts and Lynne McGranger, and TV personality Angie Kent.
Frost and Hansen announced Ted’s birth on March 7, 2023 with a sweet Instagram post.
“This is Ted ❤️,” Frost wrote, revealing the sweet name.
“Theodore Paul Frost-Hansen. There’s no words to describe how much we love you 07/03/2023.”
Frost and Hansen announced the pregnancy in September 2022, months after announcing their engagement.
The mum-to-be shared a picture of herself and Hansen holding up an ultrasound image.
“There is a tiny human coming soon … everyone act surprised when he inevitably inherits his parents’ odd sense of humour,” the caption read.
“We don’t take ourselves or life too seriously, and we’re hoping to teach our tiny one the same values we share.
“The importance of being unapologetically yourself, always finding the fun and humour in all the small things, and that being kind, loving and empathetic is a superpower.”
After announcing the happy news, the couple moved to Noosa in Queensland and began preparing for their new arrival.
“We thought it would be a beautiful place to raise our little boy,” Frost said on Instagram at the time.
“But we’ll be back and forth from Syd, Melb & Adelaide seeing friends, family and doing work bits and pieces.”
Despite the joys of falling pregnant, Frost candidly shared some of the lows, too.
“Sam’s preggo diary week 17,” a video posted to her social media channels in September began.
“Yesterday I threw up so much I also wet my pants.
“It wasn’t the first time.
“I sat on the bathroom floor crying … all gross in my own spew and wee,” she added, using a crying face emoji.
“Then yelled at my partner as if it was his fault.
“He responded by buying me Red Rooster … cuddling me and reassuring me that I’m doing an AMAZING job growing our baby boy.”
Frost’s post marking Ted’s first birthday was one of her few recent forays onto social media.
After a lengthy Instagram silence, she shared some recent pictures on Tuesday, writing: “Sorry Instagram, I’ve been too busy for you, spending quality time with people I love.”
Followers loved the message, saying Frost didn’t have to apologise for not being on social media all the time.
“Don’t be sorry, spending quality time with those you love is far more important!!” wrote one.
“That’s the way it should be,” added another.
“Enjoy quality time with your loved one as a priority, Sam! 😘” said a third.
