On Tuesday, Millis had shared an Instagram video thanking his fans for their support after a recent visit to the UK, but noting that he had been trolled by some people.

“I had the best time in the UK and it was beautiful meeting everyone,” the 22-year-old said in the video.

“I want to say thank you so much for all the love that you’ve shown.

“I see the hurtful comments but I just try to ignore it and focus on the positives, never give up, keep doing what you love.”

The video ended with a pointer to his single Fight with Fire and a mention of upcoming live shows in April.

After viewing the video, Hemsworth dropped a long message in the comments section.

“Hey mate your (sic) a champion, keep spreading the love and positive energy,” the Marvel star’s message began.

“Let me ask you this, how many of those people who throw hurtful comments your way have you ever met in person?

“I bet not many!

“Because most of them hide under a rock or a blocked account with all the other cowards who are afraid to ever be vulnerable and put themselves out there because they’re afraid of being rejected themselves, so they attack the world before it attacks them.

“What a lonely existence that must be. Don’t even look at that rubbish mate, don’t even give them that satisfaction.

“The only comments you need to give value to are from people who love and support you brother, and above all else your own opinion of yourself, which I know from having spent time with you is one of value and gratitude.”

Hemsworth went on to say that life was about being part of community and praised Millis for his compassion and warmth.

“People talk about being brave and so on, but for me personally that’s a complex phrasing with a myriad of interpretations,” he wrote.

“What I prefer and find universally unquestionable is kindness. Pure and simple kindness.

“Did you know that by being part of a simple act of kindness we can positively change our brain by boosting levels of serotonin and dopamine.

“Our bodies literally have a reward system inbuilt for being kind to others, and hey get this, the recipient of a kind act also receives a boost of oxytocin, dopamine and serotonin as does an observer of that action!

“Pretty simple formula for a happy life but man do we complicate it at times.

“You my friend are one incredibly kind soul and I thank you for that, keep it up!”

Hemsworth’s sweet message received more than 5,400 comments and more than 90 individual replies from people thanking him for showing his support of Millis.

“Sean is a rising star and anyone who belittles (him) are the ones who have self issues and try to reflect their issues onto others,” one follower wrote.

“Chris, you are a legend! Much love to you and Sean❤️.”

“That’s one of the most wholesome things I’ve ever read,” noted another.

“Beautifully said,” noted another. “This is everything.”

Having Hunter syndrome means that Millis has reduced lung capacity.

The body doesn’t properly digest certain sugar molecules, which also creates other health issues such as joint stiffness and hearing issues.

When Millis posted his video, he appeared to be in hospital, with a tube attached to his arm.

His followers flocked to wish him well and thank him for his positivity.

“Love will always outweigh hate mate. All the best lad,” one fan wrote.

“Mate ignore them all. Keep up the great singing adventure and share it with us!” said another.

Another Aussie singing celebrity, Peter Andre, added some words of encouragement.

“You’re an inspiration mate. Keep going,” he wrote.

“You have my full support 🔥🔥🔥.”

“Keep doing your thing. You’re doing awesome,” said one fan.

“I’m glad you aren’t letting the hate hold you back.”
