To celebrate, Ricki-Lee posted a video of herself modelling a glittering golden dress with the song playing over the top.
“Holy bajeezus! This dress!✨🫶🏼,” the video was captioned.
The strapless dress was festooned with sparkling gold sequins and featured a thigh-high split at the side.
The singer paired the dress with huge silver loop earrings, strappy heels and her trademark wind-blown brunette hairstyle.
Followers went wild for the super-glamorous look, dropping adoring praise in the comments section.
“STOPPPP it xx,” wrote Australia’s Got Talent star Jack Vidgen.
“Wow, this is gorgeous!” exclaimed another.
“It’s the person in the dress that makes it beautiful,” enthused a third.
“Omg you are on fire!! What a glamorous look!” added another.
Ricki-Lee’s new album, On My Own, will be released on March 8 — and fans are excited.
“Golden!” one fan wrote.
“Album Launch Day and our Queen performing at Palms getting close now 🥰,” they added, referring to the star’s upcoming show at Crown Melbourne on March 10.
Apart from launching her new album, Ricki-Lee shares Australian Idol hosting duties with Scott Tweedie.
Every night on Idol is a fashion showcase for the singer, who gets to wear some show-stopping outfits.
On Wednesday, she posted two pictures of what she was wearing, saying she was “obsessed” with the look.
The outfit featured a plunging beige top and long, pleated bronze skirt with her trademark high side-split.
“You are literally GLOWING right now,” one fan gushed, while another said, “So hot!”
“This look is fire,” agreed another.
“Gorgeous!! Fashionista babe 🤍🤎,” said a third. “There’s a legend right there.”
Earlier this year, Ricki-Lee spoke to 7LIFE about her Australian Idol role, which is to guide contestants through what can be a nerve-racking experience.
“People go into the audition room and we’re there on the other side of the doors to either celebrate or commiserate with people, and you really can’t prepare for that,” she said.
“I think it’s such a fun rollercoaster ride to go on because we’re going through all of the emotions and the ups and downs with everyone as they are experiencing them.
“Then once we go live again you can’t prepare for that,” she said of the live rounds of the show that come later in the season.
“It’s unpredictable when you’re on live television.
“Anything can happen.”
Australian Idol continues on Sunday at 7pm, then Monday and Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.
